Works in progress and just finished

These are the latest paintings fresh off the easel. If you'd like to know more about any of these, feel free to contact me. Please note that, as it is not possible to put all my latest paintings here, it is worth checking in >Originals for Sale/ for a comprehensive list of works available to purchase.

I am now working on several pictures at once - as well as starting to get to grips with all the pencil sketches for The Book Special Edition. A recently finished picture of a special lake with Great Northern Divers on and a large picture of a Wandering Albatross and another Barn Owl study - will soon make their way onto the Originals for sale page. If you would like to know more about any of these please ask.

A Wandering Albatross crosses a heavy sea

As well as the Barnacle geese flying, recently finished (at right) I have managed to create something that I have been trying hard to do for 8 YEARS !

A pair of Woodcock paintings both painted with the feathers from the same bird, usually only one feather works well and I start the second picture with the second and, disaster strikes. The feather either breaks or is just no good at all for painting.

So this pair of pictures is very special. If you would like more info - please ask.

This large painting, recently completed, is of a 73-foot all-steel racing yacht from the Global Challenge round-the-world race. The Spirit of Sark (the Isle of Sark's entry) was commissioned as a presentation picture. Click on the image for a larger version - using your back button to return to this page.

A large, impressive painting, 'The Lord of the Isles' is of a White-tailed Eagle over a Scottish loch, with a backdrop of soaring cliffs and open ocean.
