Works in progress and just finished 2012

Here you can enjoy a preview of Colin's original works in progress, or newly-completed images that are fresh from the easel.
Remember that this is often the first place you'll see a painting that may come up for sale later on. So, if you see an image that you like and wish to know more about it, feel free to contact us at any time, with no obligation to purchase.
Paintings sometimes disappear quickly, so act now to avoid disappointment!
If you'd like to be told when Colin has completed an image of a particular subject (perhaps an otter, an eagle, or a favourite landscape), why not drop us an email? You will then have first sight of any new images that we think might interest you, with the option to purchase.
New paintings and sketches will also be offered on the 'Originals for Sale' page, but it is worth pointing out that many paintings never made it to that section last year! Colin isn't a prolific artist, and for this reason there may not be many originals for sale at some times of year. Remember to keep checking back!

To find out more about other aspects of Colin's work, take a look at the features pages . . . here>.

Well the short break is now over (short for us anyway) and I have started work again with some pencil sketches to loosen the hand, followed by the first colour pin-feather painting of 2012.

If you are interested in any of these images, please tell us.

Finally managed to get a Woodcock pin-feather painting finished and up on the site. This one is a nice size too.

Not sure when I will get this next painting finished, but just had to sketch it up, really looking forward to getting my teeth into this one - Teal, waders, Barnies and some storm clouds and lovely lighting planned for this.
