Copyright of Colin Woolf's images: If you are buying an original painting, a print or a card, this does not give you the right to copy or reproduce the image in any way. If you wish to use the picture as a logo or reproduce it in printed material, on a website or in any other way, you must request written Copyright Release from the artist. It is well worth enquiring as the fees for the use of images can be suprisingly low. Unauthorised reproduction of any image, either for personal or commercial use, will be treated as a Copyright Infringement and legal action will be taken. You do not have permission to download any images from this site and use them for any purpose other than to view them on your own computer whilst browsing the site.
Copyright of website: This website is the property of Colin Woolf Wildlife Paintings and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright and database right laws. All content (text, images, software etc) is the copyright of the owners of the website and cannot be copied, extracted, used or re-utilised, whether in part or in whole, in any way without the owners' written permission.
Packing: All our items are packed securely to guard against damage in transit. Loose (unmounted) prints are inserted in clear conservation-quality bags supplied in a postal tube for their protection. Mounted or framed pictures are securely packed. When sending large framed pictures to international destinations we may have to remove the glass to comply with safety regulations. Most of our consignments require a signature on delivery, please bear this in mind when ordering.
Courier Service: We use a courier service for larger more valuable items. They are not the cheapest, but in our opinion offer a secure and reliable service which is extremely important in the handling of valuable and fragile pictures. If you choose an un-insured service it will be sent at your own risk.
Conservation standards: When mounting and framing prints or originals, we insist on materials which are at least of conservation standard. We take every care to ensure that the materials used will have no detrimental effect on the picture, because inferior quality mount or backing can cause serious damage within a few months. If you are having the picture framed yourself, we strongly advise you always specify 'conservation materials'; this may be slightly more expensive, but it will help to preserve the work of art for future generations. Where possible we use paper from well managed forests for our printed cards etc, the printer we use is an FSC certified printer. FSC certification is globally recognised as being the most credible and strongest system for ensuring well managed forests.
