Framing service NEW!

Just recently, we've found that many of our favourite mouldings have been discontinued and we have had to source new ones from various suppliers. As always, we have ensured that these are good quality mouldings and we believe that they will suit a wide range of images. We've just finished overhauling the framing section of our online shop. If you're ordering a print and require a frame, you'll now find a wider selection of mouldings to choose from, with some new and better images.

If you'd like more information about mouldings, or if you're looking for something very specific, please just give us a call. Delivery is by secure, reliable courier, and when it comes to packing Colin is a world-renowned expert!

Original paintings

Colin is working on a new selection of original paintings and sketches, and you can watch these in progress under Latest Paintings. If you have a particular subject in mind, perhaps as a treat for Christmas, give him a ring now!

'Solway Sunrise' - new limited edition print

A limited edition fine art print has now been released from 'Solway Sunrise', a beautiful new painting of wildfowl on the Solway Firth. In the foreground is estuary of the River Nith, with the fells of the Lake District just visible across the Solway Firth. Overhead, the flocks of geese and wigeon are lit by the morning sun, and the sky is suffused with rich hues of pink, gold and indigo. Little groups of waders - redshank, curlews and oystercatchers - are pottering about the shore.

A total of 75 single limited edition prints are available, each signed and numbered by the artist. Colin insists on using only the highest quality materials to ensure superb reproduction and resistance against fading. You may also request original pencil sketches or 'remarques' in the white border, thereby making your print even more special.

'Solway Sunrise' prints are priced at £125 plus post and packing; pencil remarques are an extra £50. If you'd like your print framed, give us a call to discuss your preferences.

Evening talks and art workshops

Colin is available as a professional speaker for societies such as art groups, ornithological societies and wildlife clubs. He will do more than just talk - he will demonstrate his painting techniques and he even offers full day workshops. These have been received with great enthusiasm by art societies, who can't wait for a second visit. His demonstrations have been described as revolutionary and eye-opening. Give us a call if you'd like to book him as a speaker!

If you'd prefer tuition that is more focused on your own personal ambitions, Colin also offers one-to-one lessons, concentrating on the areas where you'd like to improve. At least three of his former pupils are now selling their work professionally. If you'd like to discover or refresh your artistic talent, why not contact him to discuss it further?
