'Solway Sunrise', a new single limited edition print

This lovely image shows the River Nith at sunrise, looking south across the Solway Firth as flocks of geese and wigeon fly overhead. Full of atmosphere and vivid colour, the painting captures the essence of the Solway with its ever-changing light and wide skies.

The birds in flight are barnacle and pink-footed geese, and a flock of wigeon. Feeding on the shoreline and mudflats are teal, redshank, shelducks and curlews.
