A small print of a Woodcock, flying between the trees of a conifer plantation. These elusive birds are often glimpsed at dusk, as they fly quickly through woodland coverts in search of soft, fertile ground where they will spend the night feeding. The original image was painted entirely with a Woodcock pin-feather.
